Put One Foot in Front of the Other

“Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a continuing memorial before the Lord.” Exodus 28:29

Just start. Make a decision and Go. Put one foot forward, then the other.

The most difficult part is beginning. I know, you’re too busy. I understand. So am I.

But when my heart fails because I didn’t take time to nurture it, will my family accept my excuse?

You know the answer to that.

So, go ahead. Pull on your socks, tie your tennis shoes, then take one step. And another. See, that’s not so hard, is it?

Before you know it, you’ve been walking twenty minutes, that’s twenty quiet moments as a memorial before God.

Twenty minutes closer to a healthy heart.

Your family will thank you.
