Happy 10th Anniversary Chain of Mercy!

It’s hard to believe, but my debut novel, Chain of Mercy, came out just over ten years ago! In the time since, I’ve released fourteen novels and have had short stories published in six anthologies (plus a new anthology releasing in July). That’s without having published a novel since 2021.

Chain of Mercy also remains my bestseller over these ten years and has garnered the most ratings/reviews of any of my books (1340 – 4.5 stars!) A Beautiful Mess is sneaking up on it with 1179 ratings/reviews with a 4.7 star average.

To celebrate, I had a brand new cover designed by Roseanna White Designs. I LOVE how she captured the tone of the story, and how the cover alone tells a story. And I’m relaunching this book under The Mosaic Collection umbrella. Pieces of Granite, a Coming Home Series prequal, is already released under Mosaic, and hopefully the remaining books in the series will join them soon.

About Chain of Mercy ~

A devastating argument ◆ One reckless decision ◆ An unforgivable sin

Successful Manhattan businessman Richard Brooks is living the dream, drunk with success and all its trappings until one reckless decision turns his dream life into a living nightmare.

Richard flees to Minneapolis where he repairs ancient boilers instead of solving corporate problems, and he’s determined to live the solitary life he now deserves.

Executive Sheila Peterson has other plans for the handsome custodian. Richard appears to be the perfect match for the no-strings-attached romance she’s after, but she soon discovers that he’s hiding more than the designer clothes in his closet.

Richard can’t deny the allure of a relationship with Sheila. The closer they get, though, the greater the risk that she will discover not only who he used to be but also the unforgivable sin he committed that reckless night.
