Who does a mom become when her children leave the nest?
When her children leave the next, Nancy Monroe and her husband can't wait to focus on their relationship, and she's also hoping to dust off her college degree and put it to work. But life quickly intervenes and throws all her plans aside.
After twenty-five years of being a stay-at-home mom, Nancy Monroe and her husband finally have an empty nest and they can focus on their relationship. She can also put her dusty degree to work and be more than just a mom.
But then her husband gets a promotion that sends him on the road, and Nancy discovers that careers for former full-time mothers are near-impossible to find.
She isn’t about to give up, though. Besides, she always has her volunteer position at her church to keep her busy. They would never let her down. Or would they?
