I’ve mentioned before how I love going to movies with my family. There’s nothing like having two hours to sit and relax with no phones ringing, no one asking for Mom. I can just sit and enjoy. And this year offers several movies I can’t wait to see.
Oz: The Great and Powerful (March 8, 2013) – The land of Oz from the Wizard’s perspective.
Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013) – Our favorite, lovable narcissist, Tony Stark, is back, this time fighting Mandarin.
Star Trek Into Darkness (May 17, 2013) – I’ve been a Trekkie since the original TV show. No way will I miss this movie!
Monsters University (June 21, 2013) – Monsters, Inc. is one of my all-time favorite Pixar movies. While I’m not keen on cartoon sequels, this one looks worth watching.
Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013) – I went to the first Thor movie only because my husband won (4) tickets to an advanced screening. I didn’t expect to enjoy it. Now I can’t get enough of the Avengers.
Frozen (November 27, 2013) – I find little on this movie yet, but it’s rare that I don’t enjoy a Disney cartoon.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (December 13, 2013) – While the first Hobbit movie was met with mixed reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed it, perhaps because I haven’t read the book for a number of years.
Saving Mr. Banks (December 20, 2013) – A new perspective on Mary Poppins’ Mr. Banks starring Tom Hanks.
What movies are you looking forward to viewing this year?
